DECOY & NEOSOE'S Final Contribution to REDEFINE!!!

Hey, sorry for taking so long on the update. Well……..unfortunately our Physical Locations is officially closed…but no need to weep, and yes I agree we were the coolest people downtown but we didn’t completely disappear. We’re now working with Inporgress Magazine to bring you some super unique Indie Hip Hop/Urban Art events that will sure help get our little local scene on the map. Dare I say…we somewhat laid the foundation for everyday urban Art venues, well now we’re going to bring you something else which I will keep under wraps for now. With the help of Godamus Rhyme, Madd Illz, Tobar, Socky Chop, and a bunch of other cool people we want to help boost the overall impact our town has on the Culture. Stay tuned for more news on that.

As promised, even though I’m sure you’ve seen these amazing pieces by now…here’s some work that was up at the “Sorry You Missed Us Show” by both DECOY and NEOSOE, and remember that you can pick one up at www.RedefineBoutique.com

DECOY'S:

NEOSOE:

That was a nice portion of the greatness they contributed. If you're interested in any of the pieces just check www.RedefineBoutique.com to see of any are still available...but do so fast because I'm rotating the art/artists in about 2 weeks.

Our 1 Year Anniversary Recap: SOCKY CHOP Edition

well, it's been forever again and I said I would update you on the shop's revamping. Truth is we revamped for the 1 year Anniversary which went really good, all the art was great and got some pretty decent recognition. Over the time the art stood up I believe Socky Chop sold the most pieces at about 7 plus 1 commission gained from the recognition of the showing. Actually I was really inspired by his work as was our curator Mr. Tobar. We're thinking about moving the shop to the next level and I believe Socky Chop may jump on board with us....uh oh, Imagine what Tobar, Myself, and Socky Chop can do with our space. Only time will tell but I bet you if it happens it'll be a matter of time before we have the most creative and true urban art spot in Orlando. Back to the actual show though, we def have to shout out DECOY & NEOSOE as well. Both came with amazing art and great wall murals. DECOY came with a horror theme that shocked everyone, and was probably the main photo op wall. I'm going to add his work to the blog in a week or so, video and all. figured it's cooler and the effect of greatness last longer by stretching out the night in multiple blog post. After that I promise to also post the pictures of NEOSOE's wall and art which really popped. I personally think NEOSOE is one of the most complete Graffiti writers in Orlando, maybe he doesn't get the Gallery & Mainstream recognition because he came up as a bomber rather than a piecer. From an outside perspective I see that it's hard for bombers to get into design using sharpness and cleanliness, hopefully NEOSOE proved he can shift through worlds and styles though with this past show. I truly believe he can do both bombing and piecing flawlessly. Anyway, back to SOCKY CHOP for now, here's part of what you missed:

WALL MURAL BY SOCKY CHOP

BILL MURRAY AS A ZOMBIE BY SOCKY CHOP

GWEN STEFANI AS A PIN-UP STYLE ZOMBIE BY SOCKY CHOP

MADONNA LITA BY SOCKY CHOP

GIRL & PIRANHA BY SOCKY CHOP

NAOMI WATTS AS A ZOMBIE BY SOCKY CHOP

GIRL & BONES BY SOCKY CHOP

FROG & FRIENDS BY SOCKY CHOP

GIRL & FACE BY SOCKY CHOP

FROG & TOAD SKATEBOARD BY SOCKY CHOP

So yeah, he amazed all of us. His hidden Skeleton women are always a fan favorite and of course was expected but what had everyone talking was his Celebrities as Zombies. Everyone was taking pictures and asking question, it was a great night overall. If you're interested in purchasing one of his pieces that may not have been bought yet you can check the pricing and status at WWW.REDEFINEBOUTIQUE.COM

Well, I'll be back soon to update both DECOY's & NEOSOE's contributions to the show as well as DIVINCI (of Solillaquists Of Sound) & BEEF WELLINGTON's performance. I'll also let you know where we're going with the shop. As of right now the shop is closed for business reasons but when we decide to get back on pace you'll be seeing new faces and new products. Stay tuned....

Revamping The Shop

This is one of those random post that lets you know we're still alive. In fact we're in the middle of changing some stuff in the store including part of the layout & wall murals. It's been a mess but we're finally almost done and once we wrap it up we'll start letting people in again. Speaking of letting you guys back in, our 1 Year Anniversary is coming up which is why we're taking plenty of time to clean up house, rearrange, and adding some elements which will make some areas of the shop pop a little more. We'll let you know about the 1 Year Anniversary Party once the details are ironed out. For sure we'll have live music, an art installation show, and some new apparel. I can't say who will be taking part as of yet but it's going to be fun though, I can tell you that!!!

Oh, those pictures are a glimpse of the new look. We'll post completed pictures within the next couple of weeks so you know what to expect.
